Wang Xiaohong Meets with Officials from the International Police Sports Federation and Law Enforcement Agencies of Various Countries Attending the World Police Shooting Competition

On November 14th, Wang Xiaohong, Executive Vice Minister of the Ministry of Public Security and Honorary Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Second World Police Pistol Shooting Competition, met with President Sabah of the International Police Sports Federation, Vice Chairman and Secretary General Doux, Minister of the Interior of Uruguay Bonomi, and law enforcement officials from Cambodia, Hungary, Myanmar, Thailand and other countries who were attending the opening ceremony of the competition in Guangzhou.

Wang Xiaohong, on behalf of Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi, welcomed the arrival of officials from the International Police and Sports Federation and law enforcement agencies from various countries.   I hope that all participating team members can demonstrate their level, style, and friendship in the competition. Taking this competition as an opportunity, we will further strengthen exchanges, deepen mutual trust, and promote the overall improvement and balanced development of law enforcement capabilities in various countries, so that the achievements of international law enforcement cooperation can benefit every country.

Wang Xiaohong stated that cracking down on crime and maintaining justice are the common responsibilities of the police. In recent years, the Chinese police have actively cooperated with law enforcement agencies of various countries and achieved significant results in combating transnational organized crime such as terrorism, cybercrime, drug-related crimes, and telecommunications fraud. China is willing to work hand in hand with all parties to further strengthen practical cooperation in international law enforcement and security, and effectively safeguard the social stability and people's well-being of each country. As one of the founding countries of the International Police and Sports Federation, China will continue to strongly support its work and actively promote the healthy development of police sports exchanges among countries.

The President of the International Police and Sports Federation, Sabah, and law enforcement officials from various countries highly praised the efforts made by China to host this competition. They stated that this competition is not only a competitive competition, but also a bridge for police exchanges and communication among countries, which will better promote practical cooperation in the field of law enforcement and security among countries.
